The mission of the Mezzaluna’s breeding is to carry on the legacy left by its founders by treasuring their teachings first among which the welfare of the dog. An important factor for the selection of this magnificent breed is health, our breeding subjects are subjected to DNA tests for the prevention of hereditary diseases and the radiographic control of skeletal hereditary pathologies: hip dysplasia and elbow dysplasia.
